Like an Ocean

 

First thing I hear when I get out of bed is His voice

It's calling out to me

After a night of invading my dreams

He wants to be my reality

 

So I wait on Him

Yes I'll wait on Him

And He said,

 

"I never wanna leave you lonely,

You'll never have to get let down again

If you are ever lost and weary

Just call on me, and I will be there."

 

His love rushes in like an ocean

It holds me captive, never to let go again

His love overtakes my emotions

I can't hold it in

 

So I wait on Him

Yes I'll wait on Him

And He said,

If not for Him, I would've wandered this life forever

Before I knew His name

And since that day that I stepped in, just a little bit closer

I'll never be the same...

And He said,
